What are the procedures for submitting a Digitally Projected Image (DPI) for Competition?

Quantity

DPI competition entrants may submit four (4) images each month: two (2) images in the Color DPI competition AND/OR two (2) images in the Monochrome DPI competition.

File Size & Format

Each image must have the following maximum size: Horizontal side will be no more than 1,920 pixels. Vertical side will be no more than 1,080 pixels.

Unless your image proportions are in the exact ratio of 4 to 3, one of these dimensions will be less than the maximum. The preferred (but not required) color space is sRGB.

Filenames

Use the following file naming syntax name your file: “image-name ~ makers-name.jpg” (using a tilde ~)

For example: If John Doe would like to submit a photo of a basket of flowers: “A Basket of Flowers ~ John Doe.jpg“.

Submitting Photos

Please submit your images (as JPEG attachment) to the DPI Committee via the wpccdpi@comcast.net email address by the Saturday before the competition’s date.
