DESCRIPTION:Members will have an opportunity to learn the “How To’s” on judging competitions. The panelist are members who have judged WPCC’s inhouse competition and knowledgeable of rules required by CACCA.  \n\n\n\nHarvey Cobbs brings expertise in photographic composition\, Ken Mitchell’s expertise and the “go to person” is photographic lighting\, Emma Grant is very knowledgeable in all areas and the rules of CACCA judging and scoring\, Mike Schwartz also knowledgeable in what CACCA requires and has judged for CACCA as well.   \n\n\n\nIn addition to the above discussion\, explanation will be given on how photos are selected for CACCA competition. The correct procedure for mounting prints will be demonstrated before meeting end. I apologize for any inconvenience this late change may cause. \n\n\n\nWPCC members will enjoy guest speaker Patrick Pyszka\, Principal Photographer for the City of Chicago\, as he returns to present his photographs  – and discuss his role in City Hall.  He will share ways the city’s Photo Services Office builds a library of searchable photographs to serve a wide range of purposes for different city departments\, and how his photos contribute to an archive of images to serve future generations.

DESCRIPTION:We are looking forward to viewing many creative photographic images which will receive well deserved scores from the judges.  \n\n\n\nAll eligible members are encouraged to participate with Print & DPI entries. Printed images should be mounted on black boards and submitted no later than 6:15pm. Competition will begin promptly at 6:30pm.   \n\n\n\nPrint sizes: 16×20  and 11×14 \n\n\n\n8 B & W prints \n\n\n\n8 Color prints \n\n\n\nDPI submissions allowed are: \n\n\n\n 2 B & W images  \n\n\n\n2 Color  images \n\n\n\nFile Size & FormatEach image must have the following maximum size: Horizontal side will be no more than 1\,400 pixels. Vertical side will be no more than 1\,050 pixels.
