SUMMARY:WPCC IN-PERSON & ZOOM: Print & DPI Competition
DESCRIPTION:Join us on the Tuesday before the Second Saturday of each month during the club year for our exciting in-house competitions at the Washington Park Camera Club. While we typically hold a monthly in-person print competition\, please note that the schedule is subject to physical space availability at this time. Don’t miss out on the chance to showcase your photography skills and connect with fellow enthusiasts at our club events! \n\n\n\nWe are looking forward to viewing many creative photographic images which will receive scores from a panel of judges. All current (paid) members are encouraged to participate in Print & DPI entries. \n\n\n\nTo learn more about WPCC’s Print and DPI Competition (including full participation instructions)\, check out https://washingtonparkcameraclub.org/competition \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPrinted Images\n\n\n\nPrinted images should be mounted on black boards and submitted no later than 6:15pm. Competition will begin promptly at 6:30pm. \n\n\n\nPrint competition is every other month. Therefore submission of prints are as follows: \n\n\n\n\nSmall print 11×14 – 1 B&W per month. 1 Color per month. Total 4 prints\n\n\n\nLarge print 16×20 – 1 B&W per month. 1 Color per month. Total 4 prints\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDigitally Projected Images (DPI)\n\n\n\n\n2 B&W Images\n\n\n\n2 Color Images\n\n\n\n\nUnless your image proportions are in the exact ratio of 4 to 3\, one of these dimensions will be less than the maximum.  \n\n\n\n\nEach image must have the following maximum size: Horizontal side will be no more than 1920 pixels. Vertical side will be no more than 1080 pixels.\n\n\n\nThe preferred\, but not required\, color space is RGB. \n\n\n\nImages are to be sent as jpeg attachments to the email.  dpi@washingtonparkcameraclub.org or wpccdpi@comcast.netDPI SUBMISSIONS NO LATER THAN Saturday before competition (March 6\, 2027)\n\n\n\n\nThe meeting will also be on WPCC Zoom
